The Festival
​

  • Festival "Zvezden Praht" is held annually at June. The first festival was in 2008 and was held at the Cultural Center "Borba1896"

  • Today the festival is organized by the Municipality of Knezha, Cultural Center "Borba1896" with the active collaboration of cultural institutions and sponsors.

  • The festival aims to present a variety of visual performances, and various genres of contemporary trends and amateur theater to promote cultural exchange and meetings between theatrical collectives and their organizations.

  • In relation to the basic rules of the International Amateur Theatre Festival organization "Stardust" should not be taken as a race.

  • The festival is annually organized with a team of official observers who support the work of theater lovers with professional guidance..

  • The number of shows played during the festival is determined by the Organizing Committee;

  • Each group presents a show (preferably without intermission) experimental or traditional, classical or modern that is no longer than 60 minutes (An exception to this rule may be approved only by the Organizing Committee).

  • Room and board daily cost (max. 10 people including - directors, actors, technicians) shall be borne by the Organizing Committee.

  • Travel costs to Bulgaria and back are borne by the participating groups. Travel costs in Bulgaria shall be borne by the Organizing Committee.

  • Participation is permitted for age groups from 20 to 60 years.

  • Arrival, registration and placement of the groups must be made no later than 12.00 hour on 24 June 2014

  • The official opening ceremony of the festival is from 20.00 hours on 24 June 2014

  • The closing of the festival is June 29, 2014.

  • Departure of groups is June 30, 2014

  • It is desirable to observe the other groups and to participate in the program at all festival days. Also, additional events suitable for short attraction which represent local culture and the style of the participating group is welcome.

  • If necessary, the organizers will assume maintenance and major equipment groups on stage.
