The sixth edition of The International Amateur Theatre Festival “Zvezden Prah” was launched in the city of Knezha on June 24 with a concert and theatrical procession which included more than 300 participants and more than 2000 spectators. Many colors, music, dance and emotions filled the pedestrian area of ​​the city. There were waved the flags of the six countries participating in the festival. Before the start of the carnival procession, actors from the community theater center carried by carriage, made like actors in Renaissance tried to make people to visit festival events, starting with special opening ceremony. Carnival procession was accompanied by colorful, traditional and vanguard improvisation and performances of all groups participating in the festival. One of the most impressive performances were the mummers from Voynyagovo, actors from the Mime Art, Eftal Gulbudak – Turkey and cheerleaders of Knezha. The official opening ceremony of the festival has become a unique show with performances of Ballet “Arabesque”, Group “Vakali”, mummers from Voynyagovo and the cheerleaders “Sun”. The synthesis of the mystical ballet, the energy of the group “Vakali”, the mummers group made ​​the ceremony a spectacular and unforgettable for festival participants and spectators. Mrs. Iskra Tsankova – the director of the festival opened the forum with the wish each participant to be “sprinkled with stardust”, to succeed with their performance and fruitful work in the creative workshops, performances, exhibitions and performances.
