The second day of the festival started with workshops, a new
accent in the festival program, set up with the idea to increase the volume of cultural exchange, the creative charge and interactive nature of the event. The workshops took place in five areas:

  • Visual comedy and eccentric theater;

  • Latin and ballroom dances;

  • Small film forms;

  • Body art and photography;

  • Spaces and objects – making art installations from waste materials.

In theater festival program viewers and observers experts (Gergana Pirozova, Prof. Valentina Fidanova-Kolarova, Prof. Vasil Stefanov) saw four different statements:

  • We are all equal before God – Theatre “Mime – Art”, association “Silence” – Sofia, Bulgaria;

  • Princess and the Swineherd - DYUT “Musketeers” – Pernik, Bulgaria;

  • Colonel Bird – Municipal Theatre – Galabovo, Bulgaria;

  • Midsummer Night's Dream - Theatre Group Yablanica, Bulgaria.

It is difficult for the viewers to assess the performances as finished works of art, but they show a different artistic level, artistic feeling and lasting desire to enter into serious drama – of course with varying degrees of success.

The focus of the day and one of the highlights of the festival was the exhibition “Footprints” – the work of artists Lyudmil Georgiev, Deyan Petrov and Dimitar Valkov. Arranged extremely successful in the renewed hall of the Historical Museum, with its high levels cause unprecedented interest among locals and guests of the festival. Especially emotional exhibition was thanks to the presence of Lyudmil Georgiev, one of the organizers of the festival “Zvezden prah”
